Bingo is one of the major fundraisers for the WHS Choral Boosters. We receive about $8,000 each year for our group providing volunteers to help run Bingo. These proceeds help to defray the cost of student fees. Without this money each family would be required to pay more per student to keep the department running.
Each Bingo date is split into two shifts and each family is required to work a certain number of shifts. Entertainer and Encore members are required to work a minimum of 2 shifts and A Capella members will need to work a minimum of 1 shift. Once the required number of shifts has been completed families may work additional shifts and obtain a credit of $25/shift towards the individual account of their student(s) which can be used for fees, Jammin Gear, tours, performance tickets, end of the year banquet, etc.. Bingo dates are posted each semester and families may sign up for their preferred dates by contacting Michelle Yost, our Bingo coordinator. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age or a Senior at Woodbridge High School. If the volunteer is a Senior at WHS they must be accompanied by a parent during their first shift worked.
