TWO THINGS LEFT......
With a little over one-month left in this 2009-2010 school year we have two main events left on the calendar that you will want to be a part of. - First, on Thursday and Friday, June 3-4, we will present our final choir concerts featuring the Entertainers, Encore and A Capella Choir along with solos and ensembles. During the course of this evening you can experience the final presentation of both Entertainers and Encore's 2009-2010 competition show choir package as well as joining all the choirs in the singing of the great "Battle Hymn of the Republic" (which was the concluding song at this year's IUSD Honors Concert at Segerstrom Hall). We will have a memorial program for purchase at the concert which will include comments from present and past singers (and parents), photos from the vocal music archives, and other memorabilia that you will enjoy owning as we end a 13 year tenure with me directing as well as say goodbye to Mr. Andy Ball, our student teacher and department friend.
Second, on Saturday, June 5, we will host the annual "Vocal Music Year End Banquet" at the Crowne Plaza in Irvine. This event will give me a chance to say goodbye to everyone as I leave this position as music director at Woodbridge High School. For reservations call or email the Vocal Music Department.
